The Logo That Started It All
Growing up, I had always been fascinated by automobiles—their engineering, their design, and the way they felt on the road. That passion led me to start a car-buying consulting page, helping people make informed decisions before purchasing their dream vehicles. As the page grew, I realized it needed a strong visual identity—a logo that reflected its purpose.
At first, I thought I could just hire someone to do it. But curiosity got the better of me. I decided to try designing it myself, even though I had no prior experience. I watched tutorials, played around with basic design tools, and spent hours refining ideas. What started as a simple necessity quickly turned into something I genuinely enjoyed. For the first time, I felt the excitement of creating something from scratch—not with machines or calculations, but with colors, shapes, and meaning.
Discovering a New Passion
Once the logo was done, I didn’t stop there. I realized that a brand is much more than just a logo—it needs a strong presence, a voice, and visuals that connect with people. So, I started designing social media content for my page, experimenting with layouts, typography, and colors.
With each design, I felt a sense of fulfillment that I had never experienced before. Unlike engineering, where every problem had a rigid solution, design gave me room to explore, make mistakes, and improve through creativity. I found myself thinking about branding strategies, visual storytelling, and how businesses could connect with their audiences through design.
It no longer felt like something I was doing out of necessity; it was something I wanted to do every day. My free time, once filled with technical studies, was now dedicated to learning design principles, practicing new techniques, and refining my skills. It didn’t feel like work—it felt like passion.
Turning Passion into Purpose
At some point, I had to ask myself—was this just a hobby, or was it something more? The answer became clear as I started getting better, receiving appreciation, and feeling more drawn to design than anything else.
The transition wasn’t instant, nor was it easy. I had invested years in engineering, and shifting to a creative field felt like stepping into the unknown. But I realized something important: skills can be learned, but passion is rare. And when you find something that excites you, something that makes you lose track of time, you owe it to yourself to pursue it.
Now, I’m on a journey to becoming a self-taught designer—building brands, creating visual identities, and helping businesses stand out. Every project is a new opportunity to learn, grow, and refine my craft. Looking back, I never imagined that designing a single logo for my car page would change my career path. But sometimes, the smallest decisions lead to the biggest transformations.
